AWA is more than just a shop. It is a part of my story.
My name is Vika. I grew up at the intersection of two cultures: Belarusian and Peruvian. My dad, who is from Peru, often brought me handmade gifts from his home country. Many of them are still with me today, even after 15 or 20 years.
The name AWA comes from Quechua (one of Peru’s three official languages) and means "weaver." It perfectly reflects how I see the world: as a fabric woven from countless threads - of history, emotions, and human connections.
What sets AWA apart?
Craftsmanship with soul and history. All products are created in small artisan workshops and family-run businesses in Peru, where craftsmanship is passed down from generation to generation. I select every product personally – nothing here is accidental. The colors, materials, and details all hold deep meaning, reaching back to Andean traditions and the time of the Incas.
Quality that lasts for years. Timeless quality is my priority. I own an alpaca scarf myself (the exact same model you can find in my shop) that I have worn for over 15 years – and it still looks amazing.
Individuality. I curate AWA products to fit any style. They serve as a distinctive accent that will highlight your uniqueness.
Straight from the heart, your Vika
